Small Groups

Small groups at New Hope are called Circles of Friends.  Circles of Friends are interactive groups of people that get together once a week to enhance each member's relationship with God and each other. New Hope currently features several small groups each uniquely tailored to meet the needs of the group.Small groups are held in homes on various days throughout the week. Each group is always looking to welcome new friends! In this relaxed atmosphere, you'll enjoy friendships, great food, encouragement, and an enriching time of prayer and learning about God.

God's Victorious Army (GVA) is by far the largest Circle of Friends at New Hope Church.  Their meetings consist of a Bible trivia game, a time of interactive Bible study, and fun and fellowship around an exotic spread of food! GVA meets every other Saturday and venues are on a rotation in homes of attendees. For more information on schedules and locations, please contact 708.341.8955.

flapjacks

If you are a man who is looking for authentic Christian friendship, the Flapjacks Breakfast Club is just what you need. This group meets every Saturday morning from 7am to 9am at the Flap-Jack’s Pancake House located at 4830 W 111th Street (west of Cicero) in Oak Lawn in the back room.  The men enjoy friendly conversation over a hearty breakfast. Their purpose is to encourage one another to live for Christ in the day-to-day details of life and to pray for their pastoral leadership.  There is time for in-depth Bible study through various books in the Bible led by experienced Bible teachers. The men share prayer concerns and have committed themselves to pray for the preaching ministry of their pastors and for each other's needs.
